United Brands limited reported loss per share of PKR 0.64 in FY24 against a loss per share of PKR 1.07 in FY23. Furthermore, in 1QFY25 the company reported profit per share of PKR 0.09 against loss per share of PKR 0.27 in SPLY. In Past few years company have reduced their borrowings due to high finance margin on imports. 

In the past few periods the gross profit drastically decrease due to import restrictions and supply chain disruption. The company is currently operating with a negative shareholder equity balance.

 It is interesting to note that as company has diversified its investment in various sector, one of its subsidiary namely IBL logistics contributed in its profit by showing remarkable growth of 292 million. The company is currently operating at a negative shareholder equity of 16,596. Going forward they are looking for portfolio enhancement. Additionally With the curtailment of imports and switch in consumer preferences the company is focusing on local manufacturing and developing their own brands.
