Kohinoor Industries Limited recorded earnings per share of PKR 1.28 in FY24, as compared to earnings per share of PKR 1.44 in FY23. The company reported earnings per share of PKR 0.31 in 3QFY25, as compared to earnings per share of PKR 0.25 in 3QFY24.
The company currently is in the business of renting out its factory space to other companies. As such, it has a total rentable area of 375,000 sqft with about 250,000 sqft assigned to its anchor tenant Masood Textile, a garment exporter. Its anchor tenant currently pays PKR 25/sqft in rent which is expected to be revised to PKR 30/sqft during FY26.
It is important to note here that this upward revision in rent is being done after a 3 year freeze due to tough economic conditions in the country. The remainder of its facility is rented out to smaller tenants who change frequently and pay a slight premium on their rent as compared to the anchor tenant. Moving forward, the management expects rental income to improve on the back of rent revisions and improving macroeconomic environment.
