In FY26, company’s profit after tax expanded by 207.6% YoY to PKR 1,581 million (FY25: PKR 514 million), pushing Earnings Per Share (EPS) from PKR 5.02 to PKR 15.45. Total revenue reached PKR 43,512 million (+1.6% YoY). Fabrics & Home Textile Division accounts for 59% revenue share. Export sales grew by 7.5% YoY to PKR 25.38 billion, accounting for 58% of total revenue. Top export destinations include
The Great Britain (PKR 9.99 billion), followed by USA (PKR 4.21 billion), Spain (PKR 3.17 billion), Italy (PKR 1.95 billion), and Netherlands (PKR 1.45 billion). Gross profit increased 25.1% YoY to PKR 5,817 million, with gross margin widening to 13.4% from 10.9% in FY25. Net profit margin rose to 3.6% from 1.2%, and ROE rebounded to 10.5% from 3.8%. The company is executing a PKR 1,789 million Fabric Processing upgrade (including a Goller Complexa bleaching range, an 8 chamber POSLU Stenter, and a biomass-fired thermal oil heater) alongside a Spinning BMR modernization program. These measures are expected to drive operational efficiency, expand margins, and elevate product quality. Solar power capacity doubled from 7.5 MW to 15.5 MW, supplementing an in-house 21 MW gas generator (with heat recovery) to drive down energy costs and advance the company’s zero-carbon roadmap.
This is also supplemented by up to 18 MW WAPDA grid supply. Through APTMA efforts, the company secured a key policy shift regarding export financing eligibility. Subsidized export financing was revised from a strict >80% export revenue threshold to a project-basis model, enabling companies with under 80% export revenue (such as JKSM at 58%) to access cheaper financing. Going forward, Industry advocacy regarding Super Tax relief for major exporters is undergoing discussion at both executive management and industry association levels. Management signaled that policy outcomes and regulatory responses regarding potential Super Tax relief are expected within the next four months.
