MACPAC Films limited reported earnings per share of PKR 4.35 in FY24 against an earnings per share of PKR 6.39 in FY23. Furthermore, in 1HFY25 the company reported earnings per share of PKR 0.20 against PKR 3.01 in SPLY. MACPAC Films offers innovative packaging solutions with a diverse product range, including plain films, overwrap films, transparent films, opaque films, metallized films, and more. 

 Management stated that due to intense competition, they find it challenging to pass on the rising cost of supplies to customers. As a result, they are focusing on developing value-added products to improve their profit margins. The company is currently operating at full capacity utilization. Its energy mix relies entirely on captive power, utilizing a combination of natural gas and RLNG. 

A 1MW solar power plant is expected to become fully operational within the next two months, with a significant portion already functional. Management highlighted that in developing countries, the average annual per capita plastic consumption is approximately 36 kg, whereas in Pakistan, it stands at only 7.5 kg, indicating a substantial market gap. Going forward, MACPAC is actively exploring alternative energy solutions. 

The management remains committed to driving bottom-line growth through cost efficiencies and product diversification in the value-added segment.
