Arpak International Investments reported loss per share of PKR 62.4 in FY24 against a loss per share of PKR 19.1 in FY23 depicting an increase in losses of 227% 

Furthermore, in 1QFY25 the company reported loss per share of PKR 12.78 against PKR 2.45 in SPLY. The company has booked a provision of 273mn, due to reduction in fair value of their associated companies Arpak has invested 50mn in Premier Grain Ethanol Limited through the subscription of their ordinary shares. 

Moreover, the company has financed this plan through sale of company property in Islamabad. The plant is expected to be established in a span of 1 – 1.5 years. Till date, an amount of 32mn has been paid for this purchase with an outstanding amount of 18mn that is to be settled in next financial period Going forward, the management believes that Premier Grain Ethanol Limited will contribute towards their profitability as it is a stable business that already has clients onboard. This project will only be utilized for export sales with a potential to generate high returns.
